CVE-2023-32815

Local information disclosure via unvalidated GNSS input

Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024

An out-of-bounds read in MediaTek GNSS service allows local users with System privileges to disclose memory through malformed input. The service fails to validate attacker-controlled input before reading beyond its intended bounds; MediaTek has not identified the affected function or input field. Exploitation requires local System-level execution, needs no user interaction, and exposes data adjacent to the intended buffer.
