CVE-2023-32804

Local memory overwrite via constant-pattern out-of-bounds write

Published Dec 4, 2023 · Updated Aug 28, 2024

Out-of-bounds write in Arm Mali GPU userspace drivers allows local users to overwrite limited unallocated memory with a constant pattern. Arm discloses that the userspace driver writes beyond its allocated memory but does not identify the affected routine or triggering input. A non-privileged local account is required; the published record does not establish control of the written bytes beyond the constant pattern.
