Missing authorization in Simple Page Ordering 2.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter page ordering through its REST endpoint. The simple-page-ordering/v1/page_ordering route invokes rest_page_ordering without a capability check, allowing supplied post identifiers to drive menu-order changes. No account or user interaction is required, and the consequence is limited to modification of WordPress content ordering.
