Browser script execution via unsanitized Full Name
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Stored XSS in NXLog Manager 5.6.5633 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when another user views profile data. The user-edit workflow stores the Full Name value without sufficient sanitization, allowing script payloads to reach a browser rendering context. An attacker needs access to edit a user record, and another user must view the poisoned data; execution is confined to that viewer's browser session.
