Uncontrolled resource consumption in OPC Foundation OPC UA Legacy Java Stack before 6f176f2 allows remote attackers to halt server service. The OpenSecureChannel and message-chunk handlers accept floods of requests without enforcing effective resource limits, allowing the requests to consume all available server resources. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation leaves the server unable to serve client applications.
