Victim-privilege actions via forged Content API requests
Published Jul 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Archer Platform's Content API before 6.13.0 allows remote authenticated users to perform victim-privilege operations. The Content API accepts attacker-crafted cross-site requests through a victim's authenticated session and executes them without adequately verifying their origin. The attacker needs an Archer account and a victim with an active session; confidentiality and integrity consequences are limited by the victim's privileges.
