Unrestricted file upload in L7 Networks InstantScan IS-8000 and InstantQoS IQ-8000 allows remote attackers to execute system commands. The web interface upload function accepts dangerous executable file types without validation and permits uploaded files to run on the appliance. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation grants command execution and can interrupt appliance service.
