CVE-2023-3271Network attack vector

Unauthenticated data disclosure via exposed REST endpoints

Published Jul 10, 2023 · Updated Jun 1, 2026

Improper access control in SICK ICR890-4 firmware before 2.5.0 allows remote attackers to download device data through the REST API. The REST API exposes endpoints without authentication and returns system information and downloadable data to unauthenticated requests. Network reachability alone is sufficient; no credentials or user interaction are required, and the documented effects are data disclosure and limited service interruption.
