Incorrect default permissions in GoReleaser nFPM before 2.29.0 allow local users to modify files installed from generated packages. Content.WithFileInfoDefaults and tree or glob expansion copy source modes into package metadata without applying a restrictive mask when file_info.mode is unset. The issue requires permissive source files and no explicit mode or umask; installed 0666 or 0777 files permit unauthorized reads or changes.
