Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Authorization bypass in BuddyBoss Platform 2.2.9 allows remote authenticated users to access and rename other users' albums. Album requests accept a user-controlled album ID without verifying that the authenticated account owns the referenced album. Any authenticated account can substitute another album's ID, exposing its contents and permitting a cross-account rename.
