Type confusion in Foxit Reader 12.1.2.15332 allows remote attackers to execute code via JavaScript embedded in a malicious PDF. The Field.checkThisBox method accepts a non-integer nWidget object and treats it as an incompatible type, corrupting memory during widget processing. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted document; the resulting impact can include arbitrary code execution in the reader process.
