Service interruption via undisclosed protection failure
Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Protection mechanism failure in Intel PROSet/Wireless before 22.240 and Killer Wi-Fi before 3.1423.712 allows attackers to interrupt service. Intel has not published the affected component or the operation that fails to enforce the protection mechanism. Exploitation requires unauthenticated adjacent access to a Windows 10 or 11 system with a listed Intel or Killer Wi-Fi adapter, and the documented consequence is limited to reduced availability.
