XML external entity injection in Applicant Programme Ver.7.06 and earlier allows attackers to read arbitrary local files via crafted XML. During application-data checking, the program's XML-processing path permits external entity references to resolve local filesystem resources instead of blocking them. A local user must cause the desktop application to process the malicious file; the documented impact is file-content disclosure, not modification or service interruption.
