Remote code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Jul 25, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Generic Model Organism Database Project GBrowse allows remote attackers to execute code on the server. An unauthenticated user who can reach the feature can place server-executable content and invoke it over the web; observed attacks have been reported.
