CVE-2023-32622Network attack vector

Authenticated root command execution

Published Jun 30, 2023 · Updated Dec 4, 2024

OS command injection in Wavlink WL-WN531AX2 firmware before 2023526 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The public CNA and JVN records do not identify the affected endpoint, parameter, or function; they state only that special elements are not neutralized before downstream command use. Administrative access is required, and successful exploitation grants root-level control over the router, including the ability to read or alter data and interrupt service.
