CVE-2023-32615Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file overwrite via absolute paths

Published Sep 5, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Arbitrary file write in OAS Engine in Open Automation Software OAS Platform 18.00.0072 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite files. The configuration-save handler accepts a client-supplied absolute path and replaces an existing file with generated configuration data. A valid configuration request is required, and writes inherit the OAS service account's filesystem permissions; prepared configuration content can replace an SSH authorized_keys file.
