Script execution via unsanitized administrator settings
Published Aug 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Eji Osigwe DevBuddy Twitter Feed 4.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through settings. The administrator settings path stores input without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without adequate output escaping, causing attacker-supplied script to execute when an injected page is opened. Administrator-level access is required, and the issue is reachable only on multisite installations or where unfiltered_html is disabled.
