CVE-2023-32550Network attack vector

Information disclosure via exposed Apache server-status endpoint

Published Jun 6, 2023 · Updated Jan 7, 2025

Information disclosure in Canonical Landscape before 19.10.05 allows remote attackers to read live Apache request data via server-status. The default Apache configuration proxies external /server-status requests to local mod_status, exposing active URLs and GET parameters without access control. No authentication is required; exposed signed API requests can be replayed briefly to read private settings or invoke actions such as system reboots.
