Database disclosure via unescaped sortdata query
Published Nov 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in the affected WordPress plugin through 2.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through sortdata. The plugin inserts the attacker-supplied sortdata value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or prepared-query handling. Administrator-level access is required, and exploitation can append SQL statements that extract sensitive database information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
