Authentication bypass in Web3 – Crypto wallet Login & NFT token gating 2.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to take over accounts. The hidden_form_data function accepts a username from the login flow and establishes that existing user's WordPress session without adequately validating the caller's identity. The published description requires an authenticated account and knowledge of the target username, while the published severity assessment treats the request as requiring no prior privileges.
