Unauthenticated information disclosure through NFS
Published Aug 16, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Information disclosure in NFS in affected Dell PowerScale OneFS releases allows remote attackers to read sensitive data over the network. Dell has not published the specific NFS code path or incorrect operation that exposes the information. Unauthenticated NFS access is sufficient; affected releases are 9.2.1.0 through 9.2.1.22, 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.0.13, and 9.5.0.0 through 9.5.0.3, with confidentiality loss only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=Version 9.2.1.0 through 9.2.1.22, Version 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.0.13, Version 9.5.0.0 through 9.5.0.3
