Improper access control in Dell Common Event Enabler before 8.9.9.0 allows local users to elevate privileges on Windows servers. The flaw occurs when CEE is installed outside the default Program Files directory, where access control is not properly enforced. A local low-privileged account and a non-default installation path are required; successful exploitation grants elevated privileges.
