CVE-2023-32468Network attack vector

S3 secret-key disclosure via trace logging

Published Jul 26, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024

Sensitive-data logging in Dell ECS Streamer before 2.0.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to read an S3 secret key. When Trace is enabled, the Init call writes the configured S3 secret key to the trace log instead of excluding the credential. Exploitation requires high-privileged remote access and Trace logging, and the reported consequence is credential disclosure only.
