Insecure junction handling in Dell Update Package Framework 4.9.4.36 and earlier allows local users to create arbitrary files. The Windows framework fails to prevent a file path from resolving through an attacker-controlled junction or mount point outside the intended location. Standard-user access is required, and redirected file creation can corrupt system state or interrupt service.
