Type confusion in Apple WebKit allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying maliciously crafted web content. Apple identifies the locus only as WebKit and states that improved checks correct the type confusion; no public source identifies the affected function or incorrect type transition. Exploitation requires a user or WebKit client to process attacker-controlled content, after which code runs in the affected process context.
