A privacy control bypass in SQLite in iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS before 16.5 and macOS before 13.4 allows local users to bypass Privacy preferences. SQLite logging did not enforce sufficient restrictions, allowing an app to cross the platform privacy-permission boundary; Apple has not disclosed the affected logging path or operation. Execution of a local app is required, and the documented consequence is limited to bypassing Privacy preferences.
