Kernel use-after-free in Apple iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, and watchOS allows local users to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple identifies the locus only as the kernel and states that improved memory management corrects the stale-object lifetime error; no affected function or trigger is disclosed. Execution requires interaction with an app, after which successful exploitation crosses the user-kernel boundary and gives the app kernel-level code execution.
