Cross-site scripting in IBM Business Automation Workflow allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript into the Web UI and disclose credentials. IBM states that crafted content is embedded as executable JavaScript in the Web UI, but does not identify the input field or rendering path that fails to neutralize it. Exploitation is unauthenticated over the network but requires interaction by a user in a trusted session; impact is limited to that session’s data and UI behavior.
