Authentication bypass in IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 allows remote attackers to access the admin panel without authentication. Native Maximo security grants excess application access when MAXREG has improper group membership or its User Registration group has excess permissions. The condition requires MAXREG access beyond SELFREG and FORGOTPSWD, exposing protected administrative functions without a prior login.
