CVE-2023-3233Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated server-originated requests via unrestricted image URL

Published Jun 14, 2023 · Updated Jan 2, 2025

Server-side request forgery in CRMEB 4.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to make server-originated HTTP requests. The /api/image_base64 route passes an attacker-controlled URL to get_image_base64 in api/controller/v1/PublicController.php without restricting the destination. A valid low-privilege account is required, and successful requests can reach services available to the application server; public evidence does not establish response-body disclosure.
