Cross-organization membership via unchecked organization identifier
Published May 26, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Missing authorization in FIT2CLOUD CloudExplorer Lite 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to join any organization. The server-side profile update path trusts a client-supplied organization identifier without verifying that the account is permitted to select that organization. A valid low-privilege account can substitute another organization identifier, defeating tenant membership isolation without gaining server administration.
