Untrusted pointer dereference in the I/O subsystem of Intel QuickAssist Technology software before 2.0.5 allows local users to disclose data. Intel has not published the affected function, the pointer's untrusted source, or which memory becomes readable when the I/O path dereferences it. Exploitation requires an authenticated local user and additional attack conditions; the reported consequence is information disclosure.
