Credential exposure via improperly scoped credentials lookup
Published Jul 19, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
Credential exposure in Micro Focus Dimensions Plugin 0.9.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture system-scoped credentials. The plugin performs credentials lookup without the job context, so credentials reserved for Jenkins global configuration become selectable in an item's configuration. Item/Configure permission is required; successful abuse discloses credential material without changing data or interrupting service.
