Service interruption via malformed API requests
Published Dec 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper exception handling in Bosch BT API servers allows remote attackers to interrupt affected video services with malformed requests. The affected API server does not safely handle exceptional conditions triggered by a malformed API request; Bosch has not disclosed the request field or code path that fails. The interface is reachable without authentication over a network, and successful requests stop normal service functions without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
