CVE-2023-32224Network attack vector

Unauthenticated brute force via unrestricted login attempts

Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024

Improper authentication-attempt restriction in D-Link DSL-224 firmware 3.0.10 allows remote attackers to brute-force access. The CNA does not identify the affected authentication endpoint, counter, delay, or lockout operation, so the exact implementation failure is undisclosed. The flaw is remotely reachable without prior authentication and permits repeated credential guesses, but public sources do not establish the privileges gained after a successful guess.
