Authenticated code execution via unrestricted reflection
Published May 31, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Unsafe reflection in SailPoint IdentityIQ allows remote authenticated users to invoke Java constructors through submitted forms. IdentityIQ form processing accepts a bean class from form data and reflectively instantiates any class on the application classpath with either no arguments or one Map argument. A valid account and a reachable form submission are required; the resulting effect depends on available classes and constructor side effects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.0 <=8.0p5
- Affected versionversion=8.1 <=8.1p6
- Affected versionversion=8.2 <=8.2p5
