Controller access via replayable stored credentials
Published Aug 23, 2023 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Improper authentication in Walchem Intuition-9 firmware before 4.21 allows remote authenticated users to access the controller. The login flow accepts stored credential representations as reusable authentication material instead of requiring the original password. An attacker must first obtain a stored credential representation; successful replay grants the access level associated with that account.
