Service interruption via malformed client certificate

Improper input validation in Unified Automation UaGateway 1.5.12.482 allows remote attackers to interrupt the service via a client certificate. The client-certificate processing path fails to validate certificate data before handling it, allowing malformed certificate content to trigger the denial-of-service condition. Exploitation requires an operator to accept the attacker’s certificate; public sources do not distinguish whether the interruption is a crash or hang.
