Sensitive file disclosure via unvalidated webproc path
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Path traversal in D-Link DAP-1360 6.14B01 and earlier allows network-adjacent attackers to read sensitive files without authentication. The /cgi-bin/webproc endpoint passes the user-controlled WEB_DisplayPage path into file operations without validating that it stays within an allowed directory. The flaw is reachable only from an adjacent network and exposes files with the webproc process's root-level access; DAP-2020 1.03b01 and earlier is also affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
