Unauthenticated email disclosure via missing capability check
Published Oct 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Mail SMTP Pro 3.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read email-log data via a print-page request. The is_print_page function renders email-log header data without first verifying that the requester has the required WordPress capability. A network request from an unauthenticated user is sufficient to expose logged email addresses and other potentially sensitive header data.
