Stored XSS via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Dream-Theme The7 11.7.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to store XSS through a forged request. An unnamed theme function accepts a state-changing request without correct WordPress nonce validation, allowing attacker-supplied script content to be stored. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to follow an attacker-controlled link, after which the stored script executes for users who view the affected content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
