Unauthenticated SQL injection via AJAX table parameter
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025
SQL injection in Dhaval Parekh WordPress Database Administrator 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute SQL via an AJAX request. The wdaSetTableActionResponse AJAX handler places the attacker-controlled table parameter into an SQL statement without adequate sanitization or escaping. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published time-based proof of concept delays the database with an injected SLEEP condition.
