Compiler-removed buffer clearing in Silicon Labs Gecko Platform SDK 4.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read residual key material. The sli_se_sign_hash function's buffer clear is eliminated as a dead store by compiler optimization, leaving duplicate cryptographic key bytes resident in RAM. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a difficult attack path to the affected memory; the published impact is confined to disclosure.
