CVE-2023-32088Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via ad-hoc case creation

Published Oct 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024

Cross-site scripting in ad-hoc case creation in Pegasystems Pega Platform 8.1 through 23.1.0 allows authenticated users to execute scripts. Pega identifies the affected workflow but does not disclose the input field, rendering path, or exact neutralization failure. A normal authenticated user must create the crafted case and a victim must interact with the resulting content; execution is limited to the victim's browser context.
