Authenticated SQL injection via log-query sort parameters
Published Jun 12, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
SQL injection in RoadFlow Visual Process Engine .NET Core MVC 2.13.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute attacker-controlled SQL. The /RoadFlowCore/Log/Query handler passes the sidx and sord form values into database expressions, allowing error-based functions and time-delay subqueries. A valid RoadFlow session and access to the log-query function are required; the demonstrated effects are database error output and a controlled query delay.
