Automation rule manipulation via negative counters
Published May 11, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025
Improper input validation in Pimcore Customer Management Framework before 3.3.9 allows remote authenticated users to save negative rule counters. The CountActivities, CountTrackedSegment, and CountTargetGroupWeight number fields omit a zero minimum and accept negative counts. Access to the authenticated Conditions editor is required, and malformed counters alter customer-automation rule evaluation rather than exposing data or interrupting service.
