Missing brute-force protection in Nextcloud user_oidc 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to brute-force OIDC authentication. The LoginController and Id4meController login and code actions accepted repeated failed requests without registering brute-force protection or throttling error responses. The published assessment requires low privileges and user interaction; repeated guessing can compromise the targeted authentication context.
