CVE-2023-32066Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped Week View note titles

Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Jan 28, 2025

Stored XSS in Anuko Time Tracker before 1.22.12.5783 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. In week.php, the Week View renderer passes a stored note directly to $field->setTitle without HTML escaping, placing attacker-controlled markup in a tooltip. A logged-in user must save a crafted note, and another user must later open Week View; the resulting script executes within that viewer's session.
