Unauthenticated code execution through crafted MSMQ traffic
Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 28, 2025
Remote code execution in Microsoft Message Queuing on affected Windows releases allows remote attackers to execute code over the network. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected MSMQ code locus or the operation that mishandles untrusted network traffic. Exploitation requires the optional Message Queuing service to be installed and enabled, with its network listener reachable; no authentication or user interaction is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
