Denial of service in Microsoft .NET Framework allows remote attackers to interrupt applications through X509Certificate2 file handling. Microsoft has not disclosed how X509Certificate2 processes an attacker-supplied certificate file incorrectly. Unauthenticated network reachability to an application that accepts and handles such a file is required, and the effect is limited to availability.
